The Most Expensive Days To Go To Disney World In 2023
As if planning Disney's 2023 crowd calendar wasn't already difficult, things have gotten even more difficult in recent years, especially with the closure of Disney World parks and all the attractions, entertainment and restaurants coming back. . it took more than two years to recover it.

To predict what might happen in 2023, we need to take a hard look at what has happened since the reopening phase.
Since crowd levels have increased since the park reopened, we'll discuss why we expect them to continue to increase in 2023 and what effect this will have on crowd levels and wait times.

Disney World Hotel Discount For Passholders
Just be careful, as the parks reopened, any traditional Disney World crowd calendar has been thrown out the window, as it's very difficult to reliably predict attendance up to this point.
Some of our predictions for 2022 came true (guests are returning to Walt Disney World in a big way), but with so many unpredictable factors, we've also been so wrong. Any prediction for 2023 should be taken with a grain of salt because the past few years have been harder for people to understand and we are far from perfect.

2022 is an interesting year to say the least, and we don't know how the audience level will react during the year. There are many unknown factors such as the current health crisis, the economy and the willingness of visitors to travel in general. As the year progresses, it's clear that people don't hold back when it comes to vacationing or visiting "The Most Magical Places on Earth."
Cheapest Time To Go To Disney World In 2022 And 2023, According To Experts
Walt Disney World basically reopened in stages starting with Disney's Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios again in 2020. We never got an official word from Disney or anything, but most known safety restrictions have been lifted. old has since disappeared from the Disney World website.

Even so, things are still not back to normal and the park is full so far due to a lack of staff in the Orlando area.
Last year, in general, the level of attendance was very high, and you didn't notice that anyone was going to participate. Almost every time we go the crowd level seems to be normal as usual. It's completely different compared to 2021, and especially 2020, where theme parks sometimes feel like ghost towns and many attractions don't have to wait more than 15-20 minutes to get there.

When Is The Best Time To Go To Disney World 2023
In 2022, January is wild and the parks are busier than usual. Then there was an even bigger spike in crowds in February and wait times reached unprecedented levels for that time of year.
Things pick up in March and April when people start to travel more during spring break and Easter. The parks are incredibly busy during these months and even with the reduced capacity it still feels like the parks are full.

May was quiet and perhaps our favorite month to visit since last year and the incredibly low wait times made guests very happy. In June it picked up again and continued through July where it was back to normal Disney World crowd levels. Much of this has to do with the increased capacity of the theme park and the recurring entertainment options in the park.

If you really want to look at the numbers, our friends at Thrill-data.com have great charts where you can see wait times steadily increasing throughout the year.

The chart above shows Magic Kingdom wait times starting in 2021 and ending in November 2022. We updated this article before December 2022, but reservations for park passes and hotel stays ensure that it will be another holiday season.
You can see the average wait time for an attraction around 15 minutes in Aug/Sep 2021, but once 2022 rolls around, the average wait time will hit 35 minutes or more.

What Is The Cheapest Time To Go To Disney World In 2023?
There is a small drop in August and a bigger drop in September, like every year. In fact, in September, the average wait time for attractions at all 4 parks was between 25 and 40 minutes, a huge difference from just a few months ago.
October is one of the busiest months of the year, having been trending in that direction for several years.

Viewers have spent the holiday season in November, although this is not reflected in the graph, as the month was not yet over when I took the screenshot. We have no doubt that December will be the same and the parks will be as full as ever. Not surprisingly, we have two months near the top of our busiest months ranking.

So does that mean audiences will continue to grow in 2023 and beyond? Yes, we think there's a good chance of that happening.

The crowds always increase from September to December, in spring and summer due to holidays and school hours. However, the increase we saw last year is more due to people getting back to normal as most are on vacation and the park's capacity is close to 100%.
The low levels of recent years are due to several factors. Many domestic tourists are hesitant to travel at first, but after a few months decide they are more comfortable with the idea after seeing how Disney handles changes and procedures. Eliminating these procedures, like having to wear a face mask, seems to help guests who previously wanted to wait.

In addition, many DVC members had to use points for canceled trips in 2020 and 2021 and were "forced" to go to Disney World last year to avoid losing their points.
Disney has increased park attendance significantly, and while Disney hasn't commented publicly on it, it has to be higher or higher than 90% because we can't say what it will be like before 2020.

Yes, guests still must use Disney's new Park Pass system to make park reservations and numbers are limited each day, but that's no longer an issue if you're waiting until the last minute or planning to go.
