The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) announced 2021-22 Standards of Learning (SOL) data for school divisions showing that Fairfax County Public Schools () made steady progress to return to pre-pandemic levels.

The 2022 pass rates show that while the road to recovery continues, students made promising gains in reading, math and science during the 2022 school year.
