Now the school has launched a public relations offensive on social media, trying to show it's listening to community concerns about noise, lights and traffic, finding solutions and moving forward in an effort to build support for what could be a $100 million project. project. These include two sports fields, two gymnasiums, eight tennis courts, a 50-meter swimming pool, underground parking for 500 cars, walking and jogging paths, and an elaborate system for capturing and reusing rainwater.

The next big step this fall is the release of an environmental impact report, which will lead to hearings and lots of community feedback. The school filed its first application for a conditional use permit last year. The city council has the final approval.
