MSU announced the "Rowdy Return Scholarship" drawing to be awarded to five college students with at least one goal. In a press release, the university states that "deserving undergraduate students are eligible to win five tuition and fees scholarships, which cannot be combined with financial aid awards for the 2021-22 academic year, for the full year of $8,164 ($4,082 per semester).

MSU President Jayne Davidson says getting more people on campus vaccinated will ensure they return to campus in the fall.
"When we set the goal of a full return to the Fall Center, it was our hope that our students would answer the call, get vaccinated, and help reach that goal. Our goal is now closer, and Rowdy Returns The scholarship is a way to reward our students for their commitment to public health.
The drawing will take place after August 1, 2021. The vaccination status of those chosen as winners will be verified by the government. Distance courses will continue to be offered in conjunction with courses available on campus. Online courses will be delivered in one of three formats:
A traditional hybrid format (a combination of face-to-face classes and online requirements) will also be offered. You can learn more about the different online delivery formats in the "Course Format" drop-down menu below (Continue reading below for registration guidelines).
9. You will see that the classes appear on the file, and "Pending" is listed in the summary. When you have confirmed your file, click "Submit".

10. You will know that it is successful when you see a green box "Save Successful" with the classes that have been validated in your program. They will also say "Registered" in the summary.
The classes indicate the place and time. Please note that some classes will say "Major" as the location and "Online" as the "Type".

Will I receive the same quality education in an online class as in an in-person class?
Yes. Courses that transitioned to distance learning this spring and summer have been active and effective – over 97% of you are staying active and engaged with your new distance learning. In the fall, MSU Denver implemented curriculum design expectations to build on the quality and flexibility of these courses. Online courses that meet these expectations offer grades and drop rates similar to face-to-face courses, so we're sure you'll get real learning and preparation for your future – not just something to get you closer to a degree that meets the requirements .
We are evolving to offer one of the most immersive, connected and effective online experiences available, and part of that evolution is offering our courses in the most powerful system available – Canvas. When it launches this fall, it will greatly improve the user experience for students.

Canvas is easy to use, and this video reviews its basic features. This video and your instructor's guidance in your studies will also build your understanding.
And, we believe in the simplest and most efficient user interface in Canvas. We have been informed that it is not necessary to provide specific web support for students; However, we didn't want to take any chances. Therefore, students – who are unfamiliar, uncertain and uncomfortable with online learning – can contact ITS for assistance with Canvas. Contact information will be available in your web lessons.
