Montreal Calendar Of Events 2023 – The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) has published the 24-race calendar for the 2023 Formula 1 World Championship season. The calendar was approved after an electronic vote by members of the World Motor Sport Council (WMSC).
The 24-match calendar will feature a match in Las Vegas for the first time, but the match in Qatar will return after missing out on the 2022 FIFA Men's World Cup. The FIA has announced that the Las Vegas race will be held on Saturday instead of Sunday.

The 2023 season kicks off in Bahrain on March 5 before traveling to Saudi Arabia, Australia and China for the first time since 2019. After the second leg in Miami, the European competition begins in Italy before heading to Monaco. The Canadian Grand Prix will be held between the European races in Spain and Austria before heading to Great Britain, Hungary and Belgium before the summer break.
A Montreal Summer Festival Guide
After the summer break, racing resumes in Holland followed by Italy before heading to Asia for races in Singapore, Japan and Qatar. It then returns to North America this season for the US Grand Prix, followed by races in Mexico and Brazil. The first race will be held on November 18 in Las Vegas, followed by the season finale on November 26 in Abu Dhabi in a doubleheader. However, the FIA has not revealed any details about what stage the sprint race will be at.
Having 24 races on the FIA Formula One World Championship calendar for 2023 is further evidence of the sport's growth and appeal on a global scale. The addition of new venues and the retention of traditional events shows the FIA's proper oversight of the sport. I am delighted that in 2023 we will be able to bring a new era of Formula 1 racing to a wider audience with exciting races created under the 2022 FIA regulations.
