University Of South Carolina Spring 2023 Calendar – Must be the facilitator in coordination with the academic advisor in degree planning and completion of graduation requirements.
UNC Charlotte is open to students who commenced their studies in the 2016-2017 school year and are continuously enrolled on campus until graduation. If requirements change, students may have to meet new requirements or meet their own requirements during the change. Students must declare their intention to use the new requirements at least one semester prior to course completion. Students changing majors/sub majors are subject to the new major/sub major requirements that come into effect during the semester in which they officially begin their new program. In both the 2023-2024 school calendar proposals – Choice A or B – the first day of school is Monday, August 28 and the last day of school is June 7, 2024.

Both calendars have the same number of student and teacher holidays. The number of teacher working days will be the same, but they will fall on different days depending on the calendar option.
The CMS Calendar Committee was asked to create an additional six days to allow for early release and waive the make-up day.
The biggest difference between Option A and Option B is the students' winter and spring break. According to plan A, the winter break will start from December 21, 2023 and last until January 2, 2024. Students will return to class on January 3, 2024. Tuesday, January 2, 2024 will be a teacher's day.

According to plan B, the winter break for students will start from December 20, 2023 and last until January 2, 2024. Students will return to class on January 3, 2024. But December 20 and 21 along with January 2, 2024 are teachers' working days.
While Spring Break begins on Monday, April 1, 2024 and runs through April 5, 2024 for both options, Option A has two school days off, May 28 and 29. 3, is also the teacher's working day.
