If you want a self-paced online web course, this great self-paced course from Canvas Making Company is a great way to make the most of your time. For instructors new to Ivy Tech (or those wishing to recertify exclusively with IvyLearn), we will begin offering ILRN 101 in March 2017 as an alternative to BBRD 101.

IvyLearn Fundamentals is a one-hour session designed to give you an overview of a specific feature set. Sessions are scheduled in a 'lunch and learn' format – bring your lunch – we'll help you learn! Description: In this 1-hour presentation, attendees will learn how easy it is to add "apps" to the IvyLearn environment. It also covers the basics of connecting to third-party content such as Cengage, Pearson, and McGraw-Hill.

Description: In this 1-hour presentation, participants will learn how Google is implemented and used in IvyLearn. Topics include Google Drive and Google Hangouts.

Description: In this one-hour presentation, participants will learn how to facilitate online discussions and use rubric tools to provide feedback on student performance.
Instructor-led Teacher Connect session presenters are encouraged to explain and demonstrate how IvyLearn works or how you can extend the functionality of IvyLearn by connecting to other sites and tools.

The IvyLearn team will be standing by to answer your questions. Scheduled for two hours on various Fridays, this is the perfect time to get your very specific, very specific questions answered. Sessions are 2 hours long, but you can ask just one specific question before closing. There will be no formal presentations at these sessions. Note: Recordings may not be available due to the nature of the session.

Description: Designed to help faculty and staff learn how to set up courses for the semester using publisher materials.

Description: Participants will learn how to use the Respondus tool at IvyLearn. Topics include how to use Respondus 4.0 to move content from Blackboard to IvyLearn and how to use the Lockdown Browser.
Description: Educators are encouraged to take this 1-hour guided tour of IvyLearn, Canvas' new learning management system. Attendees will have the opportunity to see some of the best features of the new LMS, hear answers to frequently asked questions, and learn a little more about their plans for implementing the new LMS.

Due to inclement weather, some Ivy Tech campuses will be closed effective January 25, 2023. Please see our severe weather page for more information. TERRE HAUTE — Ivy Tech Community College has announced it will offer semester courses directly on state campuses starting in August, based on current coronavirus trends in Indiana. We will continue to offer students multiple course options, including online and flexible delivery modes, Learn Anywhere, a course delivery method that the University has further expanded during the COVID-19 pandemic.

State community colleges are gradually increasing the number of in-person courses as classes begin later this month and resume in June. As the largest provider of college courses in the summer semester, Ivy Tech offers a wide variety of classes. Ivy Tech students, as well as students from other institutions, often take courses at community colleges and transfer credits to their home college or university.

By August, all students who wish to attend campus will be able to do so. Our focus continues to be on the safety of our students, staff and the communities Ivy Tech serves. If new guidelines are issued from the governor or federal regulations, adjustments will be made accordingly. Face covering and physical distancing are still required at this time.
