How about a morning … POP Pilates session with mom, followed by making smoothies and healthy pancakes together! Maybe go get a massage together…that's always nice! Or go to the farmer's market, buy fresh flowers and sit for wreaths! You can always end with a mini photo session! It's always fun!

This is me and my mother in a yellow mustard field near my parents' house. Every spring we go there to celebrate the new season and take lots of photos. We are trying to take advantage of the flower garden before developers build new housing on the property. I really hope they don't – they bring great joy and peace to people in these places.

Your May Workout Calendar!

This resonates with me because I faced similar frustrations when I first decided to lose weight, get healthy and run. They said a lot of negative things to me, which I thought was really funny. When someone has a good attitude, like "You don't need to lose weight, look good." and "It's bad to roll your fingers, they fall off!" Ultimately it's up to me what I do with my body and what I want to pursue, whether it's vanity, aesthetics or general health of body and mind. People asking you to give you more information about what you think should be done with your life and body, especially when you're trying to improve yourself, is horseshit. If you want to try something new, do it. Don't be discouraged by those who tell you you shouldn't or can't. Do it twice and take a picture. It doesn't matter what other people think and feel about your body. What matters is how you feel in your own skin. (And this is just a shout, I'm talking about healthy, sustainable habits, not eating disorders, or toxic disease-related behaviors in a world of fit. Please seek professional help with these issues.)

But back to the point. His original position was how he wanted to change his eating habits to a more sustainable one and make his body more submissive than it already was.
