Bmcc Academic Calendar Summer 2023 – All ASAP students must apply for financial aid each year! The information you provide on your financial aid applications helps us quickly determine your eligibility for benefits.

All ASAP students must enroll full-time each fall/spring semester. Many financial aid programs, such as the Excelsior, TAP and ASAP scholarships, require full-time enrollment.

CUNY offers students direct deposit to receive their financial aid and tuition payments, including a spring 2023 ASAP transcript!

A security deposit eliminates the risk of your check being lost, misplaced or delayed in delivery or in error when you receive it. No need to go to the bank to make a deposit. There is no CUNY fee to use Equity Deposit. If you did not direct a deposit, the health check will be sent to the mailing address on file with CUNYfirst.

A partnership between CUNY & TheDream.US will host two events for past, present and former immigrant students. The first event is dedicated to current students and undocumented graduates accelerating their careers. The second session will be dedicated to guiding students and students who want to apply for CUNY & TheDream.US scholarships.

Regardless of your immigration status, you are welcome to attend these events and get as much help and information as possible!

This networking event will feature panelists who have navigated their careers through various immigration stages. Includes consultants, contractors, consultants and individuals with a variety of experiences, including leading the process without documentation or preparation for DACA adoption. The event will also provide information on unique tax numbers and resources to help you navigate these areas.

In partnership with Goodman College, CUNY offers a hybrid application for immigrant and undocumented students who wish to apply for CUNY scholarships with TheDream.US. TheDream.US Scholarship is a scholarship offering up to $39,000 for students to attend a CUNY campus.

The cost of the winter session is based on the classes in which you enroll. Dropping or withdrawing from classes may lower or cancel your grade and result in a tuition balance. As an ASAP student, you can receive textbook assistance to help lower the cost of textbooks, course materials, and supplies. Tuition for fall 2022 is $315.00. Read the information below and follow some simple guidelines to make sure you can afford all the educational supplies you need.

Students eligible for a "direct delivery" refund will have their textbooks sent by direct deposit or mailed check. If you have not set up a direct account with CUNYfirst, use this link for instructions on setting up an account.

Students who have not yet submitted a FAFSA or TAP for 2022-2023 will not be eligible for a "delivery" refund. Contact your academic advisor as soon as possible to learn how to purchase your textbooks with an account in our online campus bookstore.

At, you will be assigned a consultant when you request. They will help you choose the right courses to achieve your educational goals. The consultant will help you complete the registration and check periodically to make sure you are successful. We also have academic advisors! Once you've chosen a program of study and completed your foundation course, you'll meet with your program advisor to make sure you're right and start choosing courses that fit your future career plans.
