Admission to the program depends on the following aspects: access to qualifications (70% – up to 7 points), student profile (20% – up to 2 points) and the candidate's background (10% – up to 1 point). . Eligibility is based on student profile, statistical content, and level of applied research. For reference, the content of the Mathematics degree will be graded 6 to 7 points, depending on whether the student has taken full elective coursework in statistics or operations research content. Other degrees with relatively broad content in descriptive statistics and statistical inference will be scored 5 to 6 points, also depending on the option chosen. For reference, this group includes biology, psychology, engineering, medicine, business administration, management, economics, or other similar degrees. The remaining grades with a background in statistics, acknowledging no subject dedicated to the introduction of statistical concepts using statistics as a tool, will be considered for 3 to 4 points.

USC and UWGO allow partial course enrollment so that students may complete a master's degree twice according to a plan of study agreed upon by the student with the master's coordinator. UDC allows partial enrollment of courses with more flexibility, and can enroll fewer subjects per course. For this, the student must obtain the approval of the host coordinator. For more information on this form of admission, contact the master's coordinator at the relevant university. There are no classes on that day, classes will be held from September 20, 2022 at the following times.

The schedule is mainly set up in the morning, although the Master's offer is extensive and there are electives taught in the afternoon. Please check exam times and dates on the page below.

The first term runs from September 19 to December 22, 2022. The second term will be two weeks earlier than the official calendar, and will begin on January 16 and end on April 28, 2023 (Approved August 2, 2022. Xeral Secretariat).
