Uww 2023 Calendar – Warhawk Fitness and Aquatics is committed to creating an engaging, exciting and eye-opening experience for UW-Whitewater students, staff, members and guests. We strive to create a comfortable, safe and fun environment that instills confidence in participants and promotes overall wellbeing of body, mind and spirit.
Warhawk Fitness membership includes access to the Williams Center weight room, University Fitness (located in the basement of Wells Hall), and all group exercise and cycling classes. Fitness fees for UW-Whitewater students are included in the student fee. To add your membership to HawkCard, go to the membership page and confirm your membership. Membership is available to UW-Whitewater faculty, staff and community members. Those wishing to use the gym and program can purchase a Fitness or Gold membership, subject to age restrictions. All members must be at least 18 years old during the school year. However, during the summer months (May, June, July and August), teens aged 15-17 may purchase memberships with the consent and signature of a parent or guardian.

Current UW-Whitewater students, faculty and staff with a valid HawkCard have free access to Open Swim's Williams Center pool. Community members and other family members can purchase Gold or Silver memberships to gain access to the pool during designated open swim times. Age restrictions also apply.

Set capacity numbers for all training facilities. To ensure proper staffing, members must reserve space in IMLeagues, the department's entertainment event management software.
Community members must create an account on IMLeagues to reserve a seat. Creating an account is included with your membership and only needs to be done once, but you must update your information annually.

A product of IMLeagues, LLC, this app conveniently combines the informational features of our website with the indoor sports and multiple booking features of IMLeagues. While logging in requires IMLeagues credentials, the app also eliminates the time spent clicking through the desktop version of IMLeagues to find what you need. Are you an energetic person looking for a fun and rewarding dynamic job?
Learn how to teach group fitness and cycling classes with a comprehensive training series! No experience required. Learn how to count to music, perform moves, teach multiple patterns, and teach proper form and technique. This series of courses is the basis for your national group fitness certification and prepares you for a semester-long group training session with our existing trainers. This training cycle starts one week before the start of each term after you are hired.
Rec Sports hires coaches through multiple interviews each semester. Whether you have no experience or are already a coach and are interested in teaching at RecSports, visit the Rec Sports Employment page for the latest hiring schedule, job descriptions and online application. Fall interviews and auditions take time. Early November position (must be hired for spring semester). Spring interviews and auditions will be held shortly after spring break (required for summer/fall semester recruiting). UW-Whitewater offers hundreds of summer courses online or in person. With four different courses to choose from and three-, six-, nine- or 12-week courses, it's easy to find the one that's right for you.

Students not currently admitted to UW-Whitewater must apply as Special Summer Students at https://apply.wisconsin.edu. Once admitted, students will receive an email with their UW-W login information and instructions on how to register through the WINS system.

Information About Your UW-Whitewater Email After your admission is processed, you will receive your email, network ID and password in a letter from the Office of Admissions. Before logging into your UW-W email account or WINS (UW-Whitewater Online Self-Service Student Information System), visit WINS for the first time and click here to set a password.

Students should check their UW-Whitewater email regularly. By email, some instructors may send information prior to the start of the course.
Assessment reports are available on WINS or the registry; they are not sent automatically. Students typically receive their transcripts within a day or two of the official end of each semester. Information on requesting a grade report or transcript can be found on the Registrar's Office website.

Yes, graduate students can enroll and pay for undergraduate courses without changing their enrollment status.
No. Students receive undergraduate credit and grades for these courses, but cannot later claim graduate credit. Grades earned do not count toward a student's semester or overall grade point average.
Transcripts will state: "Undergraduate credit earned, graduate credit not awarded." Students taking both undergraduate and graduate courses in one semester must pay for all courses. Courses numbered 500-799 are accepted at the graduate level only.
