Iskcon Calendar 2023 Mumbai – Radhashtami day is the most auspicious day in the presence of Lord Sri Krishna's consort, Sri Radha, Goddess of Wealth.
Her scriptures praise her as the supreme mother of the entire universe who benevolently escorts and engages all her jivas in her loving devotional service of her Sri Krishna. She often holds a lotus flower in her hand and bestows blessings out of her mother's love for vaatsalya or jivas. She is Krishna's supreme Shakti. Just as the sun and sunlight are inseparable, Radha and Krishna are one but separated to express infinite love and extend the happiness of all jivas engaged in eternal service. When we become Shaktimaan and approach Shakti with a desire to harness material resources, she expresses her anger as Durga with a trident representing the three sufferings (body and mind, arising from other life and natural disasters).

But when we approach Shakti with a desire to serve Kṛṣṇa, Shakti appears as Sri Radha and enlists us in serving the Supreme Lord.
