Applications for Aztec Scholarships (SDSU's online scholarship application portal) are usually open from April to August. The decision deadline is usually in May. Late and incomplete applications will not be accepted.

All SDSU students who filed the 2022-23 FAFSA and do not have important items on their to-do list can check their eligibility at my.SDSU.
My.SDSU is the best resource for recruiting, enrollment, financial aid and student processes. On my.SDSU students can see financial support activities (to-do list), if needed, and take action on the Fall 2022 – Spring 2023 year of support.

Parents: Due to SDSU's use of my.SDSU, a CSU-standard system, parental access may be affected. The current system does not encourage parents to access student information, but it will be necessary to provide this service in the future. Read more on the Parent and Family Support page.
Admission For First Year Students
Students can also apply for direct deposit on the my.SDSU Student Finance tile. Students who have previously registered for direct deposit through Cashnet should also set up a direct deposit option in my.SDSU.

Beginning in the fall of 2022, SDSU is transitioning to a new fee-based education system. Students will now pay tuition and fees in my.SDSU
Spring Grant applications will begin on January 9. The deadline for payment of spring 2023 tuition and fees is January 11, 2023.

This program aims to empower the SDSU community to make better and more responsible decisions with the goal of achieving financial health. This is done by providing education to develop the skills needed to live a sustainable life. The program is designed to build the confidence students need to become financially independent and independent. Free events with one-on-one lessons on money, credit, and more.

The Student Finance Center is hosting webinars between January 5 and 9 about financial aid, financial aid, tuition and fees, scholarships and more.

Teaching and research courses offered by the Board of Regents are also open. Nominations are accepted in recognition of university excellence in teaching or research through an assistant or full-time associate professor, on staff at the university/universities. Adjunct faculty may be nominated for recognition for excellence in teaching. More information about the award and the process can be found from the links below.
Calls For Proposals
The award is given in recognition of work/services in schools that have demonstrated themselves as good teachers for at least five years and have two years of teaching experience.

The award is given to recognize the work/service of members of public universities who are engaged in research/professional excellence.
The award recognizes full-time faculty members who have demonstrated excellence in teaching, have taught in the CSCU system for at least six semesters and are eligible for continuous appointment during the academic year.

Southern Connecticut State University
Nominations can be initiated by faculty, staff or students. The chart above describes each award and an example of the award. All that is required to nominate a teacher for a particular award is a simple nomination letter of less than two pages that explains the basis for the nomination – the thesis or research chosen for the award as described in the paragraph above. Please note, the process described in the "Nomination" section in each of the links above explains what the nominee must do after completing his/her duties. When applying for an award made by them. Nominee – Nothing needs to be said in the selection of a teacher at this time.

School Of Nursing
Southern Connecticut State University is pleased to announce an ongoing program to support undergraduate research in the spring semester of 2023. This program, the Undergraduate Research Scholarship, is supported by the SCSU Foundation. Awards of $3,000 each will be awarded to undergraduate students who conduct academic research offered on the SCSU campus. Each student will be advised by a teacher. Teachers will receive a one-credit stipend for leading student research.

The student can receive the entire $3,000 as a grant, or, if desired, a portion of the money can be used for project-related activities.
The purpose of the grant is to promote quality research and professional work at the undergraduate level by allowing students to work closely with faculty.

Online And On Campus Degrees
• Enrollment in an undergraduate course in Spring 2023 (ie, seniors graduating in December 2022 are not eligible);
If the student has previously received a higher education grant from the program, the final report from the previous grant must be attached to the application.

For projects involving humans or animals, approval must be obtained from the SCSU Institutional Review Board (IRB) or Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IAACUC) prior to beginning research.

Description and Purpose: Southern Connecticut State University recognizes the importance of student and faculty education and creative work in advancing its mission. The University is committed to developing ways to support education and creative work. The purpose of the Student Travel Conference is to provide funding for travel and/or registration fees for undergraduate and graduate students to a national or international conference either for real or for the purpose of presenting their studies. Students who want to go to the conference without showing their work will not have their money proposal. Recommendations from students whose work shows the ability to produce, for example, publications (or other representations of researchers according to their discipline, for example, articles, contracts) will be selected.
